Jace B. King, MBA, PhD


Principal Investigator

Jace King is the co-director of the Brain Network Laboratory, which is part of the Utah Center for Advanced Imaging Research at the University of Utah. Dr. King is a research assistant professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences. He completed a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Business Administration before going on to complete a PhD in neuroscience at the University of Utah. He specializes in multimodal neuroimaging research with an emphasis in functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). His research interests include autism spectrum disorder, Alzheimer's disease, the brain effects of cannabinoids, epilepsy, and mental health outcomes.

 

Molly DuBray Prigge, PhD


Research Assistant Professor

Molly Prigge is co-director of the Brain Network Lab. Dr. Prigge is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Utah and Scientist with the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (University of the South-Sewanee) and Master’s Degree in Psychology (Wake Forest University) before completing a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Utah. Her research focuses on behavioral and neuroimaging aspects of autism across the lifespan. Dr. Prigge conducts neuropsychological testing with research participants and specializes in structural analysis of MRI brain scans.

Jubel Morgan, RN


Study Nurse

Jubel Morgan graduated from Weber State University as a registered nurse. He conducts social skills groups for individuals with autism, performs evaluations and neuropsychological testing for study participants, and is research reliable on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2). Jubel has an extensive background in behavioral health having worked in psychiatric units at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute and McKay-Dee Hospital. He began his career in research while working as a nurse for outpatient clinics at the University of Utah which specialized in autism and Tourette’s.

Carolyn K. King, CCRP


Clinical Research Coordinator

Carolyn King is a clinical research coordinator, certified through the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA).  She manages recruitment, participant scheduling, data management, Institutional Review Board (IRB) requirements, and maintenance of regulatory documentation.  She has an undergraduate degree in sociology. 

 

Daniel Feldman

Graduate Research Assistant

Daniel Feldman is a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah. He completed his undergraduate studies in neuroscience and psychology at Vanderbilt University. His research focuses on multimodal neuroimaging analysis, with interests in mental health outcomes, neurological diseases, preventative medicine, and brain stimulation. When not in the lab, Daniel can be found climbing, snowboarding, and petting his cat.

 

Jeffrey S. Anderson, MD, PhD


Founder

Jeffrey Anderson, MD PhD studied abstract mathematics and neuroscience at Northwestern University before completing residency and fellowship in neuroradiology at the University of Utah. Dr. Anderson is Associate Professor of Neuroradiology and Bioengineering, and Director of Functional Imaging at the University of Utah. He is author of 3 national bestselling science thrillers and a text on the functional anatomy of the brain: Specialty Imaging: Functional MRI (Amirsys, 2013).
